HIT BY A BAT!

Many of you might know that Makayla has a hard time going to sleep at night, she doesn't like that her bed time is at 8 o'clock. Today I was talking to her and telling her that she needs to start going to bed on time, so I told her that she has to be in bed by 7:30 tonight. We'll see how it goes. But anyways I told Makayla that it look like that she had been hit by a bat. Her reply was, "Mom but I don't see any bats in my room when I open my eyes in the morning." When she said that Clint and I just began to laugh. I thought that the reply was pretty darn HILARIOUS!

KASSI DRESSING UP!

Well yesterday I spent most of the day cleaning the house and when I spotted my little Kassi sitting in that chair I could not resist taking these cute picture's. I do not know where she gets her style from but man this girls can pick some really funky clothes! And who knows about those funky pink glasses. She must get her style from her dad! HA HA This girl definitely has an imagination of her own.

( Getting the full affect of this funky get-up that she's wearing!)

THE BIG SURPRISE!

(picture from October 2008)
Well for many of you know that my sister Julie lives in North Carolina. Well last Wednesday my dad and her came up with a surprise. My dad flew Julie in! So I got to spend a whole week with her I think that we shopped, beaded until we about dropped but I sure enjoyed every minute that she was here. She just left to head home today. It definately was hard to see her go but I'm thankful that she came. I don't think that I've stayed up as late as we did since I was in High School. We spent most of our nights up until 2 to 3 o'clock in the morning. Clint was like who needs sleep right! Well apparently not when Julie comes to town!

THE TREEHOUSE

Makayla and I went on one of her fieldtrips together. We went to the Treehouse in Ogden, I had never been there so it was a first time for the both of us. Makayla sure enjoyed herself. There was so much stuff for the kids to do, they could dress up in a castle, draw a art picture, pretend to be a school teacher or student, be a nurse, be a dentist, and maybe even be a cook. The list could go on and on. Makayla of course wanted to be the nurse because they had a nursery that had babies to play with. She is just so motherly. But all in all she enjoy herself on the fieldtrip. She told me we need to go there again, so the next adventure to the Treehouse will be with all the kids.

Makayla dressing up! Who knows who?

Who knows maybe one day she will be a good chess player!

The new found Artist: Makayla Pearl Wageman (Art Area)

Maybe the next music artist?

It was story time for the kids at the begin. The guy read them nursery rhymes and made a story up so the kids could play with puppets. This guy was a comedian for the kids. The kids definitely enjoy each room.

The computer was beening really slow so I only downlaoded a few picture's. If you haven't ever been to the Treehouse I recommend it for the kids it's a great learning enviroment.

SWEET ANGEL

This sweet angel has been so sick lately. She has had a fever of 102 and she barely broke the fever this morning. I have felt so bad for her. Her nose has been so stuffy, sounding like she can't breath. Then the worst of it all she didn't want to eat or drink for the last three days. I can tell she is doing better she is actually eating all of her bottles. I just love how she holds that bottle of her's. She is my SWEET ANGEL!

Confession of a Shopaholic

Me and Amber went to this movie over the weekend while the boys were away fishing, it is a movie you definitely would enjoy seeing. Atleast Amber and I did. I think that I laughed through 85% of the movie or even more. I'm pretty sure that Amber did the same. If you haven't seen it yet I recommend it.

The Temple Challenge

I have been wanting to post this for a while but I just haven't. One day I told Clint that we need to go to the temple we hadn't been for a while so we wanted to challenge ourselves this year. So since the first week in February we promise each other that we would go to the temple at least once a month and if we didn't make it to the temple that month then we couldn't treat ourselves to dinner. We have been grateful to be able to have gone twice in February. The temples we have around us are so beautiful and have their own unique style and design. So I hope that we can do our challenge once a month. It seems to become harder when you start a family you don't get very many opportunities to attend. I think if we have a temple close by I think we should all take the opportunity to attend. I know that having your kids makes it hard to find that babysitter or you don't want to bombard people with your kids but if we keep putting it off the easier it is to just not to attend. So I hope that everyone that reads my blog takes this challenge for themselves and if you have already done such a challenge GREAT!

Picture's

I wanted to play around today with my camera a little bit and adjust the color on some of the picture's. Of course, it's was when your girls love there picture's taken. But Kassidee didn't want to join in all the fun. Who knows where she was at.
SWEET BABY GIRL!

BIG SIS! LITTLE SIS!

Wii be BOXING!

We had Bryan and Amber over last night for dinner. Then Clint wanted everyone to play the Wii. We started out with bowling then we headed to the tennis matches, then the boxing came along. Of course the husbands wanted to challenge there wives, so of course we didn't turn them down. Clint and Bryan started first then it was Clint and me. (If you have never played the boxing before you definitely get a work out, but it's fun.) When it was my turn I was definitely up to the challenge of kicking Clint's Butt! Yes! Yes! I did. I definitely knocked my husband out not only once but twice. Amber never got the chance to knock her husband out I think she got a little tuckered out! Bryan knocked her out. That's just to bad that she didn't get that opportunity to do so, all husband need to see what there women are made of.
After we were all done wearing ourselves out we turn sometime over to the kids. The kids had a ball. Garrett against Kassidee and Makayla against Brynlee. It was fun watching the kids get wore out just like us. I guess if you're looking for a way to get two 4 year old's, one 3 year old, and a 2 year old to get tired we found the solution. Get them the Wii!

Round One! You are definitely going down! Round two! Down again. Round three! Mandee you are the Champion!
Go Amber! Go Amber! There was nothing but Mr. Serious in this round!j/k Amber put up a good fight.

I am the Champion my friend I'll keep on fighting to the end! YAAAA!

Go Kassi, box that boy OUT!

Brynlee and Makayla! Round One: Very tuff little GIRLS! Round Two: Mom my arms are getting tired. Round three: Let's go girls don't give up.

"Garrett you better not hurt my little girl." Kassi kick his BUTT!
We finished the boxing rounds and ended the night by playing Mario Kart. I think that we all enjoyed playing the games. Maybe next time we will do a different challenge.
