Not my baby anymore.......

Yesterday my last little girl turned 2........ I can't believe it...... Where does the time go? It just seems like yesterday that I was in the hospital having her and now look she doesn't even look or even act like a baby anymore. Yes, those little blue eyes and those long eye lashes seem to melt my heart every time and yes, they are very deceiving. I would have to admit that I have never had a climber, she manages to get into every thing that she can reach. I guess I had to learn one day what a climber was. Gayle happened to mention the other day that he was glad that we had one to keep us busy then continued laughing after his comment. Just cause he knows what a maniac she can be.
I would have to admit she has her sweet moments and is very outgoing. Me and Clint have a pretty good laugh about her. But she still keeps me on my toes.
Last week she had the opportunity to spend some time with Grandpa James and Grandma Becky I guess the whole town fell in love with her but what they really don't know is that she was acting for all of them knowing that they will never really get to see the real side of her. Maybe one day she will get brave enough and then people will really get to see. HA HA!

She managed to fall down the stairs yesterday wanting to play with the kids but didn't quite make it there or should I say that she made it there but not the way she was suppose too. She had to go around telling every one that she fell down the stairs and hurt. Apparently she didn't get hurt because she managed to go right back for the stairs a little later and did them just fine. Oh, I forgot to mention that Kassidee saw her falling and said I'll get her! I'll get her!

I had to help a little with the whole candle thing she didn't know if she wanted to get close to the flames. It took her a few minutes and with a little help we got them.
Dakota and Me.....

Last minute birthday cake. I thought it didn't turn out to bad. Maybe next year if I have a little bit more time to prepare it will look a little better.

Happy Birthday Dakota!

Frosted Rock

This was Kassidee last field trip for the year.......... I can't believe this school year is almost over she has only one more day left. She has made tremendous progress this year she has learn to open up to kids her age and become there friends (she's my shy one), all of her letters, writing her name, counting to 11 which I know she can count longer but this year the teacher focus was to ten for her for her age. She definitely has surprised me every day with the progress that she has made this year I am so proud of her. Stacey (her Teacher) said that she has never seen a four year old make progress like she has she is very smart and is out there to achieve what she needs too. You see I already new that she was a smart kid but I was really concerned about her speech but ever since this school year has past the progress of it is amazing. Thanks to her amazing teacher Stacey.

Ice Cream Maker......

Waffle Cone Maker.....

The reason why they got this ice cream party was because the students past there test and were ready to move on to the next year, either to another year of Preschool or to Kindergarten. Congrats Kassi for the great job. Love you!

Well the last few weeks the kids have been spending alot of time on our new playground set. We can call it new even though it is not, we were lucky enough to get this GREAT playground set for Free! Yes, I said Free! A guy Clint works with said if we were willing to go take it down we could have it, so we took that opportunity. The girls have a ball on it.

We were in Cal-Ranch the other day lookin' at stuff for the yard and we saw this swing so we ended up going a few weeks later and buying it. The first one to try it out was Dakota because she thinks everything is hers. My Horsey! My Horsey! She repeats several times, especially when her sisters are on it.

Dakota enjoying herself. This girl has no fear.

Makayla actually got going pretty good on it. She just started swinging her legs just like how you would swing on a swing.

Kassidee got upset because Makayla was pushing her way to hard which she really wasn't she
was just being a chicken. She only lasted on it for a few seconds then I had to go get her down.
I just had to post these hilarious picture's of her getting upset.

EASTER WEEKEND!

I GUESS YOU CAN SAY THAT WE WERE CELEBRATING EASTER THIS WHOLE PAST WEEKEND, WE STARTED OUT ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON WE MADE EASTER COOKIES. MAKAYLA AND KASSI GOT CREATIVE WHILE DAKOTA MOSTLY JUST CARED ABOUT EATING THEM.
GETTING STARTED....
SEE I TOLD YOU SHE JUST WANTED TO EAT THEM!
THE EVIDENCE IS UNBELIEVABLE.

KASSI JUST WAS ADMIRING EVERY ONE'S BUT SHE WAS SO CUTE SHE TOOK HER TIME BEING VERY CAREFUL ON WHERE TO PUT THE ICING.

EVERY TIME MAKAYLA CHOSE A COOKIES THEY ENDED UP BREAKING ON HER, IT WAS SO FUNNY. SHE TRIED SO HARD NOT TO BUT SHE ALWAYS MANAGED IT.

WHEN ALL SAID AND DONE I THINK THAT THIS WAS THERE FAVORITE PART ABOUT THE ADVENTURE OF MAKING THE COOKIES. ESPECIALLY FOR MAKAYLA THIS IS HER FAVORITE, IF YOU CAN'T TELL IN THE PICTURE.

SATURDAY.......
THEY GOT TO SEE THE EASTER BUNNY AND GO TO THE CITY PARK TO FIND EASTER EGGS. AS SOON AS WE WERE DONE WITH THE HUNT MAKAYLA GOT IN THE CAR AND SAID, "MOM, THAT'S NOT THE REAL EASTER BUNNY." I SAID WHY DO YOU SAY THAT? SHE SAID, BECAUSE I CAN SEE STUFF HANGING OUT OF HIS BACK. OH CRAP! SO THEN WE SAID, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE EASTER BUNNY LOOKS LIKE? I DON'T BUT I CAN JUST TELL. LEAVE IT TO HER TO NOTICE THE LITTLEST THING. SO THEN WE TOLD HER THAT THE EASTER BUNNY NEEDED A LITTLE HELP THIS YEAR SO HE HAD THAT BUNNY COME AND HELP HIM. SHE WAS OKAY WITH THAT. SHE IS ONLY 5 AND MAN I NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS TIME FOR THE QUESTIONS.

KASSI AND MAKAYLA WAITING FOR THE EASTER EGG HUNT TO START. IT WAS SO COLD THAT MORNING, IF YOU LOOK REALLY CLOSE TO THE PICTURE YOU CAN SEE THE FROZEN GRASS BELOW THERE FEET. I TOLD THE GIRLS TO DANCE AROUND TO KEEP THEM WARM BUT THEY DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME.

THIS WAS WHEN THE HUNT WAS OVER AND THE GIRLS WERE DONE FINDING THE EGGS. DAKOTA JUST KEPT SAYING, "HOLD YOU MOMMY" OR "HOLD YOU DADDY" IT COLD, IT COLD. THEY HAD A BLAST THOUGH.

SATURDAY NIGHT........
COLORING THE EGGS...
WELL TO ME IT SEEMED LIKE THEY WERE A LITTLE HUNGRY CAUSE THEY GOT TO THE POINT WHERE THEY JUST WANTED TO EAT THE EGGS. (YOU WILL SEE IN THE PICTURE'S BELOW) NOTHING BEATS BEING ABLE TO HAVE THIS TIME TO SPEND TOGETHER DOING SOMETHING FUN AND EXCITING, THE GIRLS LOVED IT.

I THINK MAKAYLA MANAGED TO CRAM THAT EGGS RIGHT IN HER MOUTH. I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO THROW-UP.

KASSI IN DEEP THOUGHT. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT THIS GIRL IS THINKING.

STILL CLEANING THE EGG OUT OF HER TEETH. YUMMY! YUMMY!

SHE WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH HER EGGS.

AND THEN THERE IS DAKOTA SHE WANTED TO SLAM THE EGGS TOGETHER TO CRACK THEM SO SHE CAN EAT THEM. SHE RUINED ABOUT 3 OR 4 OF THEM.
WHO CARES ABOUT COLORING THEM, I JUST WANT TO EAT THEM.
RIGHT!

FOR HER ANYWAYS..
BELOW IS ONE OF THE EGGS.

SUNDAY.......

MAKAYLA IS GETTING TO THE AGE WHERE EACH HOLIDAY IS GETTING MORE
AND MORE EXCITING. SHE WOKE UP THAT MORNING SO FULL OF ENERGY I
NEVER THOUGHT SHE HAD IN HER. SHE RAN IN TO ME AND CLINT'S ROOM SO EXCITED YELLING THE EASTER BUNNY CAME, THE EASTER BUNNY CAME, SHE
EVEN HAD TO GET KASSIDEE UP AND GOING. ISN'T IT JUST SO FUN TO SEE THE EXCITEMENT IN A CHILD'S EYES WHEN THEY NOTICE WHAT DAY IT IS?

KASSI WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE COLORING BOOK IN HER BASKET, THAT WAS THE FIRST THING SHE PULLED OUT.

DAKOTA IS STILL AT THE AGE WHERE SHE IS WONDERING WHAT'S GOING ON BUT SHE WAS STILLING EXCITED ABOUT THE EGGS. YOU SEE AT OUR HOUSE THE EASTER BUNNY HIDES THE REAL EGGS THE GIRLS COLOR AND LOOK WHAT DAKOTA MANAGED TO FIND.

THE EGGS IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THERE FACE IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO SPOT THE EGG WE FINALLY HAD TO POINT IT OUT. IT WAS PRETTY FUNNY. IT WAS A GOOD DAY THOUGH THE KIDS GOT OVERWHELMED WITH SUGAR AND EXCITEMENT.
WE EVEN GOT TO TALK ABOUT WHY WE CELEBRATE EASTER.
I HOPE EVERY ONE HAD A GREAT AND AMAZING EASTER AS WE DID.
HAPPY EASTER!

The TEETH!

WE HAVE BEEN ASKING DAKOTA TO SHOW US HER TEETH LATELY BECAUSE SHE IS STARTING TO GET HER EYE TEETH, SHE WON'T LET US TOUCH HER MOUTH SO I GUESS AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION THAT SHE GIVES US. I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE GOT THE IDEA FROM BUT SHE LOOKS SO DARN CUTE! MAYBE SHE LOOKS A LITTLE SILLY BUT OH WELL SHE STILL IS ONE HILARIOUS GIRL WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO THINGS.

CRAZY GIRL!

The Treehouse

Kassidee's field trip to the Treehouse on Thursday. I guess that it is a good thing we don't go to The Treehouse but once a year then the kids are always surprised to see what's there. Last year we went there for Makayla's preschool and now we repeated the same adventure for Kassidee. I don't think Kassi left my sight, every time I left for one second to run and grab Dakota she was yelling for me, I of course I would yell and tell her that I was right here. I hope next year when Kindergarten rolls around for her she will learn to let go a little. She's my little home body. I would have to admit she has opened up a little, she has made a friend at school that she talks about continuously her name is Kenlee. She is the sweetest little girl.

The field trip went well. Both Kassi and Dakota had a blast, they were overwhelmed with all the toys and stuff that was there but at the end they weren't quite ready to go. But it was nap time for the little one and lunch was headed our direction. I think almost two hours at a place is long enough.

Kassidee waited patiently for her turn to sit on the fire truck, every time she tried to sit down someone would come a running and sit right down.

Dakota loved to play xylophones but she loved the stick's more, she tried running off with a few of them til she realized they were tied down to the wall. It was quite hilarious.

Kassidee at school, I guess. She wrote her name and was just so excited to write on a chalk board.

Dakota wanting to climb on everthing she saw. She did sit for a second and then moved on to the nexted thing she could climb on.

The girls sat down and had a tea party and pretended to eat cookies. Every time I took a picture Dakota would look at me like, Mom why are you taking all these picture's. There weren't very many smile's that day but I sure think they look cute.

Dakota was really funny on the horse, as soon as she sat down on it she began to bounce up and down like it was really going to start moving. Giddy-up horsey! Giddy-up horsey! I should be a little worried this horse can't see a thing with that hat over his eyes.

This is the first picture that I got of Kassi with a smile on her face. She was so serious all that day. I guess you can say that my girls love horsey. There just like there mom was when she was a little girl.

Oh wait, here's the second smile. Dakota was wondering what she was riding, Kassi thought that it was cool.

The CURTAINS

So since we moved in I have been trying to figure out what I want to use for a window cover for my kitchen and I hadn't been able to find anything that I truly wanted, so I wondered Walmart last Friday and found some material that I really like that had my colors in them. Of course you can see what happened next, I made them. I actually really like them they add alot of character to the Kitchen. ( Clint likes them, too) It took me all day, but I managed. This is what they look like closed.

This is what they look like opened!

Of course, they stay open all the time but I just wanted to show you the full affect. I guess you can say that I'm pretty proud of myself even though if you look really close you can see lots of sowing flaws. It's a good thing you can't see close.
