Pumpkin Patch

Today was an adventure to the Pumpkin Patch for Kassidee and Me. (Fieldtrip time.) Kassidee has been talking about this day all week long. She woke up every morning and said to me "Mom, is today the day that we get to go to the Pumpkin Patch and pick out Pumpkin's. Of course my reply was not today Monkey. Well finally as you can see we made it there this morning. She kept telling me that it was taking way to long to get there but you only can drive so fast.
Kassidee could not just pick one out for her, she thought about her two other sister's while we were there. She also wanted one for Clint and I but I told her there was no way I could lift 4 pumpkin's by myself. I guess you could say that thought is what counts. That's Kassidee for you always thinking of others. Sweet Girl! She loved the hayride and picking out the pumpkin's.

Kassidee on the Trailer ready for the hayride back to the car.

Waiting for the tractor to arrive.

Kassidee trying to pick up her little pumpkin but later on she decided that she didn't want to have the small on she wanted one of the bigger one's. Dakota received the small.

First Pumpkin of the day.
The weather was great today it was prefect for the hayride. I love spending time with just Kassidee she has such a funny sense of humor, she definitely keeps you smiling threw out the day.

Preschool

Well me and Clint thought long and hard about putting Kassidee in Preschool this year. Well I guess you can see that our decision was to put her in. We are hoping that it will help with her pronunciation, she has a hard time with a few letters. When I told her on Sunday that she will be going to preschool she was so excited. The first thing that popped out of that little girls mouth was "Mom can I go get me a Strawberry Shortcake backpack." I told her if we can find one. As you can tell in the picture that there was no luck we had to go with DORA. But she was still excited because it has wheels. Oh, she does have a Strawberry Shortcake folder though.
Here is Kassidee waiting to go to School all excited with the DORA backpack.

Kassidee in the class room waiting for all the kids to arrive. She was a little shy but I hope that will change as the school year goes on.

Her Teacher (Stacey McBride) introducing her to the class today. I think this is when her nerves started kicking in because after she was introduced she ran straight to me. But surprisingly she did really well I told her that it was okay, that she can have lots of fun and I'll see her in a little bit.
I'm so proud of Kassidee! I hope that she does this good everyday and her nerves don't get the better of her. I love you Kassidee, GREAT JOB!

8 Years!

Well today is our 8th year anniversary, man how the time fly's bye! I remember the day like it was yesterday. I went threw the temple for the first time on 9-11-2001 and was then married two days later on 9-13-2001 on my dad's birthday. So I don't think I will have a hard time remembering those two days. This was the greatest day of my life when I got to be sealed for time and all eternity with my one and only true companion! Over the past 8 years my love for Clint has grown so much, he is my best friend. I'm thankful for the friendship that we have and our 3 beautiful girls that we have. I LOVE YOU CLINT FROM HERE TO ETERNITY! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

PUSHNG BUTTONS!

Well the past two weeks have been kinda crazy with Kassidee. I think that she is trying to push my buttons as hard as she can and man has it been working. Last Monday when Makayla attended school I think that Kassidee was trying to come up with some crazy idea's. That's when later that day I found her bedroom a complete unbelievable mess with water and baby powder. The two products combined are not the greatest, if you could only imagine. (sorry no picuture, I don't think I want the memory of that mess again.) All I kept asking myself is how in the heck she came up with this idea in the first place. Then this week rolled around and I was cleaning the house on Tuesday and then all of a sudden I see water dripping for the heater vent in the basement, at first I was like where is this water coming from then I remember that I gave Kassi a drink of water early. I guess you could say that she didn't want it anymore because it was definitely all gone down the vent. Maybe she was trying to clean it out or something I still don't know, she still hasn't came up with a reason WHY? Then last but not least she had a squeeze it drink later on and I guess you could say that she was sick of it because she dumped it in the garbage and then all over my kitchen floor. Those drinks are definitely sticky, sticky not fun to clean up, you have to mop about 10 times just to get all the sticky gone. So what can I say what an adventure for the past two weeks.

Well any way's I don't want to complain but I do have a point to this unbelievable trial. Last Sunday I attended sacrament by myself and I got to sit and actually listen to every one's testimony, it was really nice. (this was the week when the baby powder incident happened) So me as a mom sitting down listening to some people in a ward talking about there trial's and what they are going through I just thought I should feel pretty lucky for all the blessings that I have received from my Heavenly Father instead of always looking at what has went wrong every week. I know that Kassidee is going to be my trial for a little while and maybe it is because I need to spend some moments with just her, she needs that time with her mom but then again I could be wrong she is a complete daddy's girl. Maybe she needs sometime with her daddy instead. Ha Ha! I feel that she want's some attention because Makayla is going to school and she doesn't want her to go because she doesn't want to lose her best friend. Who knows but I do love her but man what an adventure this will be.
MY BUTTON'S ARE DEFINITELY BEING PUSH BUT I GOT TO STAY STRONG!

1st Day of Kindergarten

Well today I sent my first baby girl off to school. I can't believe that she is going to school this year, the years just seem to fly bye. I was thinking that she might have a little bit of a hard time going to school with all these bigger kids, but no it was no big deal as soon as we enter the front doors to the school and found her teacher it was like see you later mom. "You can leave now!" "I'm okay Mom." "I can do this Mom." I think in some ways I wanted to see a little bit different reaction and then in others I'm glad that she was that excited to start school. Next week will be the first time that she rides a school bus and she is looking forward to that.

Ready for the School Day! And always asking me "Mom when our we going to leave to go to school?"

Arriving threw the front doors of the School. It is pretty cool they have a wall just for lego's for the kids to play with.

Makayla sitting at the desk. I think that you can see the excitement in her eyes. I think that I was the one not wanting to say good-bye.

Makayla and Me after school. She got to make that School is Cool crown. She was definately proud to show me and I was excited to see her face and it was definately filled with so much excitement.
If you are wondering if I had any tears. I didn't! I think that I handle the whole 2 hours pretty well but I guess we will have to see when she goes everyday next week. This week is testing week to see where she is at in school, she goes on thursday.

Strawberry

Well if being at the Cabin for 2 weeks wasn't enough we went to Strawberry this last weekend. We went with Gayle and Cindy it definately was an adventure for them but it ended up being a great weekend. We rented a little boat, fished in the morning and in the evening. We did pretty good fishing. It is always fun to be in the mountain's and to go fishing that's what me and Clint know best.Clint is obsessed with getting the firewood Mr. Paul Bunyon! He has to go for the biggest and the fattest tree ever.

Dakota and Grandpa Gayle! Grandpa has to laugh at this wild monkey!

Have you seen Dakota anywhere? I can't find her anywhere under that dirt. She had dirt for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and maybe a few rocks here and there. YUM! YUM!

Also, have you seen Kassidee? She is one crazy girl that like's to roll in the dirt and also manage's to enjoy as much dirt on her face, feet and hands. As you can see the face she is giving means that I'm up to know good and I could care less.

Makayla manage's to stay pretty clean except her feet. I could not find her feet anywhere. Today I scrubed and scrubed to find them and they finally appeared. She still enjoy's the mountain's and the fishing with the fam.

Sassy Sister's Cement and Rock

Who would a thought that a 5' 2"(Amy) and a 5' 3" (me) could of layed cement and heavy heavy rocks. I guess you could say that my dad raised us that we could do anything. My dad is remodeling his cabin and updating a few things. I arrived there August 3rd thinking that my days would be adventuring the fishing but come to find out I got there and he told me, plan on laying cement on Monday. Of course, I just laughed thinking that he was kidding but I got out there and did the job. I don't know if anyone has layed cement before but man it can really wear you out this was my second time doing it for my dad. We layed about 20 yards of cement.
(AMY)
This is just one of the many heavy heavy rocks that we layed. If you want to tone your arms this is just one of the many ways to do it. It was a lot of fun getting out there and helping do this stuff. I don't get this opportunity very often to help my dad out.

Me and Amy actually got asked if we could come and lay there rocks on there cabin. We just laughed. I would have to get paid some major money! This job is very time consuming but we got the job done and I think that my dad was pretty proud of his 2 girls.

These are the pillars that we built and rocked. Let me just tell you that these were more difficult then the garage walls. But I think that they look really good, like a professional did it. HA HA!

This is one of the driveway's we poored. This one started drying quickly and that was not a good thing. Very hard to work the cement when it dry's. We were exhausted after this piece, we all just wanted to lay down and die. But a COKE fixed that problem for a little bit.

Dad rocking the garage. He's the boss! So you do want the boss wants! Work 'til morning and night no rest! Work! Work! HA HA
Dad thanks for letting us help you it was a lot of fun!

If you are wondering why I named it Sassy Sister's Concrete and Rock. That's what we are going to name our company. No were really not going to start our own business. But we thought that it was fun to come up with a name.
