Well the last few weeks the kids have been spending alot of time on our new playground set. We can call it new even though it is not, we were lucky enough to get this GREAT playground set for Free! Yes, I said Free! A guy Clint works with said if we were willing to go take it down we could have it, so we took that opportunity. The girls have a ball on it.

We were in Cal-Ranch the other day lookin' at stuff for the yard and we saw this swing so we ended up going a few weeks later and buying it. The first one to try it out was Dakota because she thinks everything is hers. My Horsey! My Horsey! She repeats several times, especially when her sisters are on it.

Dakota enjoying herself. This girl has no fear.

Makayla actually got going pretty good on it. She just started swinging her legs just like how you would swing on a swing.

Kassidee got upset because Makayla was pushing her way to hard which she really wasn't she
was just being a chicken. She only lasted on it for a few seconds then I had to go get her down.
I just had to post these hilarious picture's of her getting upset.

EASTER WEEKEND!

I GUESS YOU CAN SAY THAT WE WERE CELEBRATING EASTER THIS WHOLE PAST WEEKEND, WE STARTED OUT ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON WE MADE EASTER COOKIES. MAKAYLA AND KASSI GOT CREATIVE WHILE DAKOTA MOSTLY JUST CARED ABOUT EATING THEM.
GETTING STARTED....
SEE I TOLD YOU SHE JUST WANTED TO EAT THEM!
THE EVIDENCE IS UNBELIEVABLE.

KASSI JUST WAS ADMIRING EVERY ONE'S BUT SHE WAS SO CUTE SHE TOOK HER TIME BEING VERY CAREFUL ON WHERE TO PUT THE ICING.

EVERY TIME MAKAYLA CHOSE A COOKIES THEY ENDED UP BREAKING ON HER, IT WAS SO FUNNY. SHE TRIED SO HARD NOT TO BUT SHE ALWAYS MANAGED IT.

WHEN ALL SAID AND DONE I THINK THAT THIS WAS THERE FAVORITE PART ABOUT THE ADVENTURE OF MAKING THE COOKIES. ESPECIALLY FOR MAKAYLA THIS IS HER FAVORITE, IF YOU CAN'T TELL IN THE PICTURE.

SATURDAY.......
THEY GOT TO SEE THE EASTER BUNNY AND GO TO THE CITY PARK TO FIND EASTER EGGS. AS SOON AS WE WERE DONE WITH THE HUNT MAKAYLA GOT IN THE CAR AND SAID, "MOM, THAT'S NOT THE REAL EASTER BUNNY." I SAID WHY DO YOU SAY THAT? SHE SAID, BECAUSE I CAN SEE STUFF HANGING OUT OF HIS BACK. OH CRAP! SO THEN WE SAID, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE EASTER BUNNY LOOKS LIKE? I DON'T BUT I CAN JUST TELL. LEAVE IT TO HER TO NOTICE THE LITTLEST THING. SO THEN WE TOLD HER THAT THE EASTER BUNNY NEEDED A LITTLE HELP THIS YEAR SO HE HAD THAT BUNNY COME AND HELP HIM. SHE WAS OKAY WITH THAT. SHE IS ONLY 5 AND MAN I NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS TIME FOR THE QUESTIONS.

KASSI AND MAKAYLA WAITING FOR THE EASTER EGG HUNT TO START. IT WAS SO COLD THAT MORNING, IF YOU LOOK REALLY CLOSE TO THE PICTURE YOU CAN SEE THE FROZEN GRASS BELOW THERE FEET. I TOLD THE GIRLS TO DANCE AROUND TO KEEP THEM WARM BUT THEY DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME.

THIS WAS WHEN THE HUNT WAS OVER AND THE GIRLS WERE DONE FINDING THE EGGS. DAKOTA JUST KEPT SAYING, "HOLD YOU MOMMY" OR "HOLD YOU DADDY" IT COLD, IT COLD. THEY HAD A BLAST THOUGH.

SATURDAY NIGHT........
COLORING THE EGGS...
WELL TO ME IT SEEMED LIKE THEY WERE A LITTLE HUNGRY CAUSE THEY GOT TO THE POINT WHERE THEY JUST WANTED TO EAT THE EGGS. (YOU WILL SEE IN THE PICTURE'S BELOW) NOTHING BEATS BEING ABLE TO HAVE THIS TIME TO SPEND TOGETHER DOING SOMETHING FUN AND EXCITING, THE GIRLS LOVED IT.

I THINK MAKAYLA MANAGED TO CRAM THAT EGGS RIGHT IN HER MOUTH. I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO THROW-UP.

KASSI IN DEEP THOUGHT. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT THIS GIRL IS THINKING.

STILL CLEANING THE EGG OUT OF HER TEETH. YUMMY! YUMMY!

SHE WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH HER EGGS.

AND THEN THERE IS DAKOTA SHE WANTED TO SLAM THE EGGS TOGETHER TO CRACK THEM SO SHE CAN EAT THEM. SHE RUINED ABOUT 3 OR 4 OF THEM.
WHO CARES ABOUT COLORING THEM, I JUST WANT TO EAT THEM.
RIGHT!

FOR HER ANYWAYS..
BELOW IS ONE OF THE EGGS.

SUNDAY.......

MAKAYLA IS GETTING TO THE AGE WHERE EACH HOLIDAY IS GETTING MORE
AND MORE EXCITING. SHE WOKE UP THAT MORNING SO FULL OF ENERGY I
NEVER THOUGHT SHE HAD IN HER. SHE RAN IN TO ME AND CLINT'S ROOM SO EXCITED YELLING THE EASTER BUNNY CAME, THE EASTER BUNNY CAME, SHE
EVEN HAD TO GET KASSIDEE UP AND GOING. ISN'T IT JUST SO FUN TO SEE THE EXCITEMENT IN A CHILD'S EYES WHEN THEY NOTICE WHAT DAY IT IS?

KASSI WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE COLORING BOOK IN HER BASKET, THAT WAS THE FIRST THING SHE PULLED OUT.

DAKOTA IS STILL AT THE AGE WHERE SHE IS WONDERING WHAT'S GOING ON BUT SHE WAS STILLING EXCITED ABOUT THE EGGS. YOU SEE AT OUR HOUSE THE EASTER BUNNY HIDES THE REAL EGGS THE GIRLS COLOR AND LOOK WHAT DAKOTA MANAGED TO FIND.

THE EGGS IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THERE FACE IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO SPOT THE EGG WE FINALLY HAD TO POINT IT OUT. IT WAS PRETTY FUNNY. IT WAS A GOOD DAY THOUGH THE KIDS GOT OVERWHELMED WITH SUGAR AND EXCITEMENT.
WE EVEN GOT TO TALK ABOUT WHY WE CELEBRATE EASTER.
I HOPE EVERY ONE HAD A GREAT AND AMAZING EASTER AS WE DID.
HAPPY EASTER!

The TEETH!

WE HAVE BEEN ASKING DAKOTA TO SHOW US HER TEETH LATELY BECAUSE SHE IS STARTING TO GET HER EYE TEETH, SHE WON'T LET US TOUCH HER MOUTH SO I GUESS AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION THAT SHE GIVES US. I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE GOT THE IDEA FROM BUT SHE LOOKS SO DARN CUTE! MAYBE SHE LOOKS A LITTLE SILLY BUT OH WELL SHE STILL IS ONE HILARIOUS GIRL WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO THINGS.

CRAZY GIRL!

The Treehouse

Kassidee's field trip to the Treehouse on Thursday. I guess that it is a good thing we don't go to The Treehouse but once a year then the kids are always surprised to see what's there. Last year we went there for Makayla's preschool and now we repeated the same adventure for Kassidee. I don't think Kassi left my sight, every time I left for one second to run and grab Dakota she was yelling for me, I of course I would yell and tell her that I was right here. I hope next year when Kindergarten rolls around for her she will learn to let go a little. She's my little home body. I would have to admit she has opened up a little, she has made a friend at school that she talks about continuously her name is Kenlee. She is the sweetest little girl.

The field trip went well. Both Kassi and Dakota had a blast, they were overwhelmed with all the toys and stuff that was there but at the end they weren't quite ready to go. But it was nap time for the little one and lunch was headed our direction. I think almost two hours at a place is long enough.

Kassidee waited patiently for her turn to sit on the fire truck, every time she tried to sit down someone would come a running and sit right down.

Dakota loved to play xylophones but she loved the stick's more, she tried running off with a few of them til she realized they were tied down to the wall. It was quite hilarious.

Kassidee at school, I guess. She wrote her name and was just so excited to write on a chalk board.

Dakota wanting to climb on everthing she saw. She did sit for a second and then moved on to the nexted thing she could climb on.

The girls sat down and had a tea party and pretended to eat cookies. Every time I took a picture Dakota would look at me like, Mom why are you taking all these picture's. There weren't very many smile's that day but I sure think they look cute.

Dakota was really funny on the horse, as soon as she sat down on it she began to bounce up and down like it was really going to start moving. Giddy-up horsey! Giddy-up horsey! I should be a little worried this horse can't see a thing with that hat over his eyes.

This is the first picture that I got of Kassi with a smile on her face. She was so serious all that day. I guess you can say that my girls love horsey. There just like there mom was when she was a little girl.

Oh wait, here's the second smile. Dakota was wondering what she was riding, Kassi thought that it was cool.

The CURTAINS

So since we moved in I have been trying to figure out what I want to use for a window cover for my kitchen and I hadn't been able to find anything that I truly wanted, so I wondered Walmart last Friday and found some material that I really like that had my colors in them. Of course you can see what happened next, I made them. I actually really like them they add alot of character to the Kitchen. ( Clint likes them, too) It took me all day, but I managed. This is what they look like closed.

This is what they look like opened!

Of course, they stay open all the time but I just wanted to show you the full affect. I guess you can say that I'm pretty proud of myself even though if you look really close you can see lots of sowing flaws. It's a good thing you can't see close.

"HOME SWEET HOME"

Well here I go, Clint has been bugging me about updating on the new house but I truly didn't know if I wanted too. I feel like no one cares anyway so why is it so important that I update. Does anyone truly read my blog? I know that I can be boring but it's my life so what can I say there's not much excitement.
We have been looking' for a home for about a year and nothing seemed to workout. So I kept telling Clint every rejection that were not suppose to have our own little "HOME SWEET HOME" were suppose to live in my parents home for eternity or that's what it seemed. 'Til me and Clint spotted the home next to our good friends Amber and Bryan. It was in our price range so we had to take a look inside, the only thing that was missing was a 3rd car. We absolutely fell in love with it and you know what happened next. WE BOUGHT IT! Is it a total mistake or absolute joy? I'll let you know in a year from now...... So far we have enjoyed but we have only been in the home for 3 weeks and at least we know one of our neighbors.

Yes it snowed today! Man was I disappointed, no more snow, no more snow, please! I'm so ready for the spring weather and it is so not coming. But Clint says it a good thing so that we can cover up the muddy mess that we have in the front and back yard. Were hoping to take care of the grass thing and the sprinkler thing when it warms up but for now, see the horrible, horrible snow that I had to shovel today. Snow, Snow go away!
Well the top and bottom picture's are of my sitting room. It's quite massive, most homes these days have them but there not very big. I like this room. Clint never wanted a home with a sitting room, but I did. So I guess you could say that I got what I wanted.

Well this is my great room. I wanted to style my home the more modern look, you see the first home that we bought was styled completely different (outdoorsy). And there's nothing wrong with that, but I love what they have out there for decorations. Clint didn't know about all the different colors that I was choosing but once I got it all put together in this room he loves what I have done. Still needs a few more things on the walls on the other side but no money to do it all at once so little by little I'll get a few more things here and there.

Here's MY Kitchen! You notice I said, "MY Kitchen" causes it really is. This is where I go to cook the meals for for the fam. Clint does make a meal every once in a while but I actually enjoy doing it, if I'm not busy. We put a little hardware on the cabinets and it really adds a lot to the room, I especially love my kitchen table and chairs. They are so comfortable. I'm still looking for the window cover for the kitchen, I need to bring in some more color.

Here is the Master. I love my new coverlet for our room but I need to find some pic for it. I'm really into paintings right now. I haven't found the right one yet. And then if you notice we still haven't put our bed together cause we can't decide if we want to keep it. I really like the leather beds that are just the head board but who knows we might just be keepin' what we got.

This is Makayla and Kassidee's room. It definitely needs some major something on the walls but I do love there comforter and there curtains. The girls love sharing rooms, I really don't know if we'll ever get away from them sharing even though there is a basement. They keep each other company. It's just like when me and Julie (my sister) shared a room, we stayed up talking about boys and of course other things but mainly about boys! That's how we became best friends. So hopefully they'll do the same.

And last but not least Dakota's room. As you can see I like bright colors. This room is also lacking decor. None to be found. I want cute pic or something but no luck. She loves having her own room, I got her this bright orange fuzzy pillow that she grabs every night so that she can cuddle with it. Clint was wondering about it at first but once I put it in the room with her stuff he actually didn't mind it plus he knows that Dakota loves it. ( Clint's favorite color.)

So all in all I think that the home is coming together quite nicely. I've enjoyed decorating and bringing my own little touch into the home. Now it's just the yard that needs to be put together, it needs a little tender, love and care. But we will get there. I guess you could say that there will be another post on all the hard work we have to do when it comes down to putting in a yard! YIPPEE! But for now far well........

Dakota and Oscie

Well for many of you who don't know that me and my family live in my parents home and resently my brother Justin and his wife moved in with us. It has been fun while it lasted but me and Clint are ready to get a new home so that it can be more stable for our kids.

But anyways, I wanted to post Dakota's love of her life. She loves Justin's dog Oscar but we call him Oscie. Dakota will go around and say where Oscie? Oscie! Oscie! It is the cutest thing ever, I never thought that she would love a dog this much but she is constantly playing with him. They are so cute together. Here is just a few picture's that I snapped tonight.

Oscie! Oscie! Oscie!
WHERE OSCIE?
She will definitey miss him.
